My Featured Music
Schoolyard Symphony was written in 2012 for Grade 2 concert band. The piece, which begins, and ends, with a school bell solo, depicts a lively playground during which "recess" is taking place. Included in this short symphony are the "March of the Kindergartners", a playful rendition of "Sitting in a tree", a sweetheart's merry-go-round, a loner, a sixth-grade bully, and even a heroic champion who saves the day, all in the short span of a recess session!
A grade 5.5 piece written very recently and is meant to depict a final battle of sorts. It was inspired by the TV show Game of Thrones, although the music is not meant to portray any particular scene from the show.

"Stallion Ranch" (2009) is a piece I wrote for woodwind quintet and guitar solo. It is a very relaxing, peaceful piece with a warm climax.
